Very cold in Hanmer this morning. Slow start! We had a bit of a look around and then headed
somewhere.
Our mission was to avoid main highways if possible and eventually we
found our way mid afternoon to Lake Coleridge and the road into Mt Algidus.
I
wore out a cheap paperback copy of “The River Rules My Life” when I was about
12 yrs old , so of course we had to go all the way to the end of the road and
see the mighty Wilberforce River.
Then we had a look at the Lake Coleridge
inlet and headed for Methven as it was getting late and really cold.
Weird though, as when we went for a walk to get dinner, it
was 14 degrees and lovely and warm here.
