And the power lines

I came home from work today to find the WEL networks people back on the job. YAY!!
They had all the new wires strung out ready to be tightened up.

Then the cut the old ones to the house and pulled up the new lines. They are huge in comparison to what used to be there.
And then they proceeded to remove the old lines and pull out the old poles. All looks nice and neat again. And we are now supposed to be able to boil the jug and use the microwave at the same time without blowing a fuse or them struggling for power. And our appliances may actually last longer!
The radio/CD player died last week and the oven is failing to get to temperature so cooking is a bit of a problem but those problems should now be a thing of the past.

And about time too!
