Gus and I have been to Te Akau for a ride today.
Karen is getting back to riding her young horse Jonty and her new neighbour joined us for a quiet stroll.
Haven't seen Karen since the GNZ trek so it was nice to catch up again.
Funny thing though, her new neighbour looked very familiar to me. Turns out she was the secretary at the school our daughter started school at. They have recently moved from that area.
3 rides now in the rope halter and Gus just gets better! His own lovely clean, new one was dropped off this afternoon..................now just to get it a bit dirty looking before we go out in public!
