And some other news

Lucky had her foal. Right smack in the middle of the day and without any intervention. Lucky is one very independent type of horse, which is actually why I chose her to breed from.
I didn't want anything that needed special diets, pampering, rugging etc. This has to be a healthy, strong foal. Well that was the theory anyway.

So far, it's all gone well. Lucky is a bit excited, not helped I suspect by how windy it's become since he arrived.
I am hoping to get some more photos but will wait for the right moment.
