Summer is coughing again.
Last year she started coughing very early in October.
I have been optimistically thinking/hoping that it hadn't been an allergy at all last year but no such luck.
The past few days I have been aware of her gulping, which is an odd thing she does at times. Vets tell me it's related to all the extra fluid produced by her body trying to ease the discomfort in her throat. Of course being the eternal optimist, I have tried to ignore it but today we have had to resort to putting her on steroids again. Trying the injection this time so we can monitor just how long this allergy does actually last for.
Last year we treated her right through summertime but if we don't have to continue the treatment for that long, it would be better for her.
